Update Your Profile

Your Canvas profile contains information about you. In the profile, you can edit how your name will appear, your preferred contact method, and any personal links that you would like to share. Your profile also contains a space for you to upload a profile image. Images help others in your course recognize who you are and helps to establish a learning community. Although you are not required to upload an image of you, it can be helpful for your instructor to get to know who you are.

00:06: How do I add a profile picture in my user account? 00:10: In Global Navigation, click the Account link. 00:14: Then click the Settings link. 00:17: Click the profile picture icon. 00:20: Choose the desired method to add a profile picture. 00:24: Then click the choose a picture link.
