Dr. Lynn Henrichsen' is a Professor in the Department of Linguistics and English Language at Brigham Young University. He has published 13 books and over 60 professional journal articles in relation to his work. His distinguished career has been filled with honors and service. In 2008 he was named "Outstanding Engaged Scholar with Brigham Young University" award by Utah Campus Compact for service-learning activities pertaining to the teaching of English to speakers of other languages. Dr. Henrichsen was born and raised in Provo, but his career has taken him around the world. He has spoken several times before at our conference about Scandinavian linguistic influences in Utah.
