Instructions for Individual RAQs
The Readiness Assessment Quizzes (RAQs) are designed to see how well you read the chapter -- not to see if you've completely mastered it. The purpose is to assess if you are ready to learn in our class discussions. The RAQs should be easy if you read the material and hard if you didn't.
You take the RAQs twice, once by yourself, and once in a small group. This is to demonstrate the importance of a) individual responsibility, and b) teamwork.
The individual RAQs for the chapters in Knight are administered through MasteringPhysics before class; you have 10 min to take them. They are due 5 minutes before class.
The group RAQs are given at the beginning of class time.
