Welcome to Personal and Consumer Finance. I am excited to have you in this course and look forward to helping you be successful in your learning endeavors throughout this semester. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you might have. Also please note, due to the nature of my job I am frequently in and out of the office so an email or canvas message is the best way to get a hold of me.

Instructor Responsibilities
I will:
- Maintain an active presence in the course.
- Respond to emails within ONE to TWO business days. (Emails received after 12 pm MST on Friday will be responded to on the following Monday.) If multiple emails are received regarding the same question or concern, they may be responded to with an Announcement to the entire class.
- Provide meaningful and constructive feedback on assignments.
- Help guide and facilitate students through course material to provide an effective learning experience.
- Refer students to appropriate services for issues that are non-course content specific. For instance, technical issue, writing labs, accessibility services, etc.
- Mentor students through the course and provide career and academic counseling.
