Test Instructions

Take the test in the Testing Center (hours here Links to an external site.) on one of the days indicated in the daily schedule. Take a photo ID.

You may take three 3" x 5" note cards.  You may take your calculator, but if you use it at all, it should not be to find the answer, but only to check your answer.  You need to show all intermediate steps on the test paper.

Show all work on the test itself, as the instructor does not grade scratch paper.  There are 12 problems on the test, but you should work only 10 of them.  Make it abundantly clear which two problems I shouldn't grade (it is preferable to leave them blank).  

How to study: In a study group review all of the end-of-chapter Questions to Guide Your Review and then work through as many of the end-of-chapter Practice Exercises as you can.
