S-line1.pngWelcome to Construction Scheduling and Cost Control.  Please allow me to introduce myself as your Instructor. I am Ivan Starr.   I have been a residential contractor in California, Washington and Utah for nearly 40 years. I have built small starter home subdivisions and million dollar custom homes. I have been  teaching at Snow College for 2 years and enjoy sharing my knowledge of the construction industry.

I believe that you will enjoy this class. You will learn valuable skills in both management and scheduling. You may learn a little about yourself in the process

The two-year Snow college program provides the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in construction management. A construction management career can provide higher income that most any other two or four year college degree. Plus, the skills you learn will benefit you personally throughout your life.

During the course you will need to:

  1. Check your calendar often by clicking on the calendar icon at the top of the page. Assignments and assessments are listed on the calendar.
  2. You will have a range of days during which an assignment or assessment can be submitted. The calendar shows you the first day in that range of days.
  3. You will need to go to that specific assignment or assessment to find out when the last day to submit will be.  Assignments are typically due each Friday.
