Being an Online Student Overview

This module introduces you to being an online student. You may or may not take an online course, but we want to provide you with some hints and tips about how to succeed as an online student. You might find reading the material helpful even if you are not taking courses online. 

By the end of this module, you should be able to:

• Differentiate between online and face to face courses;
• Recognize how to be a successful online student;
• Implement study skills;
• Implement time management skills;
• Recognize what is expected of you as an online student;
• Recognize what technology expectations you have;
• Identify student resources; and
• Determine if online learning is right for you.
