  • Points 20
  • Submitting a text entry box

A BYU Physics professor has written a computer program to simulate the different intonations, tunings, and temperaments that have been used in the world of music.

http://www.physics.byu.edu/faculty/durfee/TemperamentStudio/ Links to an external site.   Versions available for Window, Mac, Linux.

Please download the software and spend AT LEAST 15 min with it.  Try everything you can, including the "Advanced" button.

Then reply here in Canvas and write three sentences about what you learned.

This is important if you want to understand the physics and math of music.
