Choreography Inspiration Assignment

Find one (1) image that directs your eye through space and post it on CANVAS.
WRITE a response to the image you selected: What resonates with you about the image and why did you choose it? If you could translate the image into a dance, what would the dance be like?
For example would the dance be narrative or abstract. A solo, a trio, a group? What would the tone of the work be – somber, reflective, joyful, flirtatious? Are you making a social statement or exploring a psychological state? What style of dance or music would you use?
Be creative, use your imagination!
Ways to upload:
1. Insert the picture onto a word document with your response and then upload the assignment
2. Upload the image directly to canvas and respond to the questions with a text entry :)
